Meet Dr. Kimber Savage
Dr. Kimber Savage is a Chiropractic Physician, Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (DACNB), and Certified Functional Nutritionist Specialist (CFN-S). She combines functional neurology, functional medicine, and lifestyle-based care to help patients better understand their health, restore function, and improve their quality of life.
Her professional journey began long before opening her clinic. In 2010, Dr. Savage founded Savage Wellness with a focus on in-home care, providing support for individuals with complex neurological and physical disabilities, including quadriplegic patients and those needing life-support assistance. She also worked extensively with individuals, couples, and families as a yoga instructor, helping clients develop greater strength, resilience, and body awareness.
Driven by a desire to make a deeper impact, she pursued a career in chiropractic medicine and discovered a passion for clinical neuroscience, brain-based rehabilitation, and functional medicine. Today, her practice focuses on helping patients with concussion recovery, balance disorders, Parkinson’s disease, autoimmune conditions, chronic illness, and other complex health challenges that often require a more comprehensive approach than symptom management alone.
Dr. Savage believes that healing occurs when the brain, body, and lifestyle are addressed together. Her clinical approach may incorporate functional neurology, functional medicine, neurofeedback, mindfulness training, nutritional interventions, advanced laboratory testing, and individualized rehabilitation strategies designed to support each patient's unique needs. She is particularly passionate about helping patients reconnect with their body's ability to heal and adapt.
Originally from Alexis, Illinois, Dr. Savage earned her bachelor's degree in Physiology from San Francisco State University before completing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. She later completed advanced clinical neuroscience training through the Carrick Institute and became board-certified in chiropractic neurology. She is also a certified yoga instructor, having completed her training at Yoga Tree in San Francisco.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Savage enjoys movement and adventure in all its forms. You might find her practicing équilibre, training with a flaming jump rope, riding motorcycles, cooking gourmet meals, exploring the latest research in neuroscience and human performance, or diving into books on personal growth, consciousness, and the science of human potential.
